The North American Summer Roller Biathlon Championships will take place at the Canmore Nordic Centre Biathlon Facility September 4 through September 7, 2008. IBU Continental Medals will be awarded for men, women, junior men and junior women.

Rollerskis will be provided by the IBU and Biathlon Canada. (Competitors must bring their own ski boots, bindings, and helmets).

The paved course will be used for roller ski competitors and runners. Helmets must worn whenever athletes are wearing rollerski, including warm-up and the competition, unless the athlete is full stopped on the firing line.

Rifles will be carried for the roller event. Standing shooting lanes will have mats for the rollers.
